What ZynMesh collects, why, who handles it and for how long.

Who is responsible
Swiss Logistics Consulting GmbH provides ZynMesh (“we”). To ask about your data, or to have it corrected or deleted, write to urs@swissdigitalsolutions.com.
On this website
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics. Our web server records the address your browser connects from and the pages it asks for, as web servers do, and keeps these logs for a short time to run and protect the site.
If you request access, we keep what you write in the form (your name, email address, company and message) and the address the request came from, to decide on it and to limit misuse. The people who run ZynMesh get an email about each request.
In the app
- Your account: your email address, your name, a scrambled form of your password (never the password itself) and, if you turn on two-step sign-in, its secret, stored encrypted.
- Your devices: for each device you are signed in on, its browser and system, when it was last used and the address it connected from. A device stays signed in for 30 days after it was last used.
- What you make: the photos, words, drawings, floor plans and map areas you send, and the models made from them.
- Notifications: if you allow them, the address your browser’s push service gives us to reach your device.
- A log of activity: sign-ins and changes to accounts and models, with the address they came from, to keep accounts secure.
The app sets one cookie, which keeps you signed in. It is needed for the app to work.
Why we use it
To provide the service you asked for: your account and the models you make. And to keep ZynMesh secure and working, which is our legitimate interest.
Who handles it
- OVHcloud runs our server, in Germany, where your account and models are kept.
- Modal runs the GPUs that make the models. What you send goes there to make the model; the files made there are deleted once they are back on our server.
- OpenAI pictures an object from your words, or the unseen sides of a single photo, when you ask for it. Your words, and those photos, are sent to OpenAI.
- Google (Gemini) reads technical drawings and sorts the inside photos of a home into rooms.
- Resend sends our emails: invites, password resets, and “model ready” when a phone notification can’t reach you.
- Your browser’s push service (Apple, Google or Mozilla) carries notifications to your device.
- When you pick a map area in the app, your browser loads the map from Esri and OpenFreeMap.
Modal, OpenAI, Google and Resend may handle data in the United States.
How long we keep it
- Your models and what they were made from: until you delete them. Their largest extra files (splat PLY files and point clouds) are deleted after 30 days.
- Your account: until it is deleted, which also deletes your API keys; your models are deleted with it, or kept, as decided when it is deleted.
- Requests for access: while they are decided, and afterwards as a record of the decision.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object to how we use it: write to urs@swissdigitalsolutions.com. You can delete your models yourself in the app at any time. If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, or to the data protection authority where you live.
